These beans are from the Uraga, Guji region of Ethiopia, just West of the famed Yirga Chefe region. The Guji Zone is known for producing coffee with a unique mix of spice, bright citrus, and floral notes.
This wet mill produces both wet and dry process coffees, using beans from small farms located as high as 2350 meters above sea level. Their dry (natural) process coffee ferments for 2-3 weeks before resting for at least a month. The labor and care involved in this extensive process results in a complex yet harmonious flavor profile that's peachy, sweet, and reflective of the region it was grown in.
