Every bag is roasted to order in Oakland, CA the week it ships. You're not getting coffee that's been sitting in a warehouse — you're getting it within 24 hours of leaving the roaster, at peak flavor. The roast date is printed on every bag. We recommend waiting 4 days after roast before brewing for best results.
