These beans are from the Bensa, Sidama region of Ethiopia- just Northwest of the famed Yirga Chefe region. The Sidama region is known for producing coffee with complex fruity, floral, and chocolatey tasting notes.
This wet mill processes coffee from their own farm as well as from small farmers in neighboring villages. It sits just over 2,200m above sea level.
These beans are best suited for drip coffee / pour overs. The tasting notes are a bit muted when brewed as an espresso.
